Must have a Full Frame DSLR and several different lenses to shoot in low light situations (aperture capability of 2.8 or lower)
Must own and have working knowledge of off camera flashes (strobes or speed lights)
Shoot in manual mode.
No editing required. (RAW files to be uploaded the day of the event)
Business Casual attire required for most events.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is a must.

Working knowledge of professional audio equipment (lavalier mics, handy recorders with XLR connections, etc)

BDP is looking for reliable and skilled drone pilots to capture aerial imagery for our clients.

Must own a registered DJI Phantom 3, Phantom 4, Mavic, Inspire, equivalent or better. (drone’s camera must capture video in 1080p and 4K quality or better)
The FAA requires that all pilots flying for non-recreational purposes possess a Remote Pilot Certification. All pilots who have obtained certification, or are in the process of completing their requirements, are welcome to apply.
Have—or will have before conducting assigned flights—UAV liability insurance.

Shifts are between 2-4+ hours (on your feet)
Events are usually scheduled in the evenings over weekends, but can be during the day on weekdays on rare occasions.

Photo/Video Assistant is an entry-level position in which you work with a photographer/videographer and get a feel for the business. You work on a freelance basis to assist our team whenever they need you. This job will not contribute directly to your portfolio but it will educate you in all the non-creative aspects of being a photographer.
Talk to the team lead in advance to make sure that you understand the purpose of the shoot, the format for the day and what equipment will be used.
During the shoot, you are there to assist the team lead and your duties will vary from shoot to shoot. You will almost certainly be required to carry and set up equipment. You will assist in scouting locations in advance and then your job is to prepare and make sure that all equipment is available, clean and working. You could be asked to stand in for the subject while the photographer sets up lighting. If reflectors are used during the shoot, you'll be the one holding them; you'll also be the one making small lighting adjustments.
